How does your door-to-door delivery service work?
We bring your selected vehicle directly to your accommodation anywhere in the Chianti region. Simply provide your location details during booking, and our representative will meet you at the specified time with your car. We handle all paperwork on-site, explain the vehicle features, and ensure you're comfortable before leaving. When your rental period ends, we'll pick up the car from your location – no need to visit a rental office at any point.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
To rent from us, you'll need a valid driver's license (held for at least 1 year), a major credit card in the driver's name, and your passport or ID card. For non-EU licenses, an International Driving Permit is recommended. We'll verify these documents at delivery, so please have them ready when we arrive with your car.
Are there any additional fees I should know about?
Our rental rates include unlimited mileage, standard insurance, VAT, and our door-to-door delivery service within the Chianti region. Optional extras like additional drivers (€5/day), child seats (€5/day), or comprehensive insurance (€15/day) are available at reasonable rates. We have a transparent pricing policy with no hidden fees.
What happens if I need to extend my rental period?
If you're enjoying your Tuscan adventure and need the car for longer, simply contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled return. We'll check availability and arrange an extension when possible. During high season (April-October), early notification is highly recommended as our vehicles are often booked in advance.
What is your fuel policy?
We provide the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, and we ask that you return it with a full tank. If you prefer, we offer a prepaid fuel option where you pay for a full tank at the beginning of your rental and can return the car with any amount of fuel remaining. This option is convenient for short stays or busy schedules.
Do you provide recommendations for places to visit in Chianti?
Absolutely! As locals who love our region, we're happy to suggest scenic routes, hidden gems, and authentic experiences throughout Chianti. During your vehicle delivery, our representative can provide personalized recommendations based on your interests, whether you're looking for wineries, historic sites, or the best panoramic views. Just ask, and we'll share our local knowledge to enhance your Tuscan adventure.
What areas do you service in the Chianti region?
We provide our car rental delivery service throughout the entire Chianti Classico region, including Greve in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, and Gaiole in Chianti. We also serve surrounding areas including select parts of Siena and Florence. If you're staying at a villa, hotel, or agriturismo in the region, we'll bring the car directly to you. For locations outside our standard service area, please contact us in advance to check availability.
Do you offer special weekly rates for longer stays?
Yes! For guests staying longer in the beautiful Chianti region, we offer discounted weekly rates. Renting for 7 days or more provides significant savings compared to our daily rates. The Renault Clio is available at €550 for a full week (saving €80 off the daily rate), while the Renault Captur is €680 weekly (saving €90). For rentals longer than two weeks, please contact us directly for our best possible rates.
What happens if the car breaks down or I have an issue?
Your peace of mind is important to us. All our vehicles are meticulously maintained and regularly serviced to prevent any issues. However, in the unlikely event of a breakdown or mechanical problem, we provide 24/7 roadside assistance throughout your rental period. Simply call our emergency number provided with your booking confirmation, and we'll resolve the situation as quickly as possible – either by repairing the vehicle or providing a replacement, depending on the circumstances.
Can I take the rental car outside the Chianti region or to other parts of Italy?
Absolutely! While our delivery service is focused on the Chianti region, once you have the car, you're welcome to explore anywhere in mainland Italy. Our vehicles are perfect for day trips to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, or even longer journeys to Rome, Venice, or the Italian coast. We simply ask that you inform us if you plan to travel outside of Tuscany, so we can provide any relevant information about driving in different regions. Please note that taking the vehicles outside of Italy requires prior authorization.
